I have personally experienced it – 113 degrees in Santa Clarita, and saw the sidewalk turning sand into glass. The South California Desert is definitely not a place to live through the Global Warming Period. Just one warning to beach volleyball practitioners: suntanning is a bad habit, like smoking. The difference – you can see the consequences. If LA is a circus without a tent, it's better get one. When I returned to New York, I had to go to see two dermatologists to neutralize the red rush on my skin. About the tap water – it's definitely bad, even worse than in Washington. Arthur Ave BTO
