Since we all Spanish, then what is our Spanish hometown? I have a worthy candidacy – BARCELONA, the capital of Cataluna, the best province of his majesty El Rey de España; the major commercial Hub and the center of Peninsular democracy; “the Sweet Spot,” populated by business-like Spanish New Yorkers; our common motherland. This place is worth visiting. My family has been there only once. When I will learn Spanish, I will come back, because – Girls of Costa Brava are dressed like women of Cote d'Azur, that's the best memory of my teenage years. I can try “culinary foam” only at El Bulli and nowhere else. Also I want to learn more about a man called Cristofol Colom, a Catalan nobleman-pirate, who had to airbrush his past to conceal his participation in a conspiracy against the Aragon dynasty. I would like to take a look at the Sagrada Familia again. Maybe they already finished that construction; may be they plan to do it after the completion of the Central. And of course this time, I will to get to Ibiza, the World Club Capital, the center of Balearic Caribs. My father once quoted George Orwell: “I would sooner be a foreigner in Spain than in most countries.” I won't have to do it this time. Fotojournalist
